Carbon County Sheriff's Facebook Page Back After Hackers Used It To Sell Crypto

“Carbon County's sheriff Alex Bakken appeared to have his Facebook page hacked in a crypto scheme.“

“The alleged hacker didn't attempt to fake any official news or communications from the sheriff's page but did use it to try and sell cryptocurrency.“

“Meta, Facebook's parent company, claims the account wasn't compromised, but did help Bakken regain control of the page.“
