“On Jan. 13, the town of Eastham released a statement that a "cybersecurity incident" had targeted the organization, telling the community, "If you have received an email appearing to be from Town Manager Jacqui Beebe, please DO NOT open any links or attachments within the email and delete it immediately."“

“The town of Eastham stated that there is currently no evidence that any personal or sensitive information was compromised. “

“According to the press release, all police services remained fully functional and town phone and email systems were not affected. “
