Onslow County Schools affected by PowerSchool data breach

“A nationwide cybersecurity breach of the PowerSchool Student Information System is impacting Onslow County Schools, the district announced this week.“

“The breach resulted from a compromised account belonging to a PowerSchool contract employee, Anderson said. Unauthorized individuals gained access using the employee's credentials. “
