Rock County Services suffers cybersecurity incident

“A phishing scam earlier this year led to a security breach within Rock County Human Services.“

“County Administrator Josh Smith says all affected parties have been contacted and there currently no threat.“

“Smith says they’ve updated their employee training and are doing continuous follow up to make sure their defenses are good enough to a prevent a future incident. Smith says the breach was discovered after doing an investigation and that come clients may have had personal data stolen.“
