City of Beckley responds to cyber attack

“A cyber attack has targeted the City of Beckley’s computer network, according to a press release 1/4/23 from the city. “

““We are working diligently to investigate the source of the incident,” the release states, “confirm the incident’s full scope and impact, and identify whether data may be impacted.” “

“The release did not specify when the attack occurred, only saying that it happened “recently.” “
