Mission mayor requests emergency declaration from Gov. Abbott due to cyber attack

“Mayor Garza has asked the Governor to declare a state of emergency in Mission and issue appropriate directives under section 418.00 of the Texas Government Code. “

“Mission issued a memo to all employees Tuesday, telling them that part of the city’s computer network had to be shut down to protect the security and integrity of the city’s data. “
