The City of Mentor confirmed that it recently suffered a cyberattack and that it took its hosted servers offline to protect data.

“The city says most general service phone lines are restored and it expects administrative lines at the police department and municipal court to be in service again on Monday. “

““There is currently no indication that any private information has been compromised or released,” the city said in a press release. “We are in the process of restoring our integrated systems to full functionality in accordance with our recovery plan.” “

“The release states that all services are still being provided, though there could be some delays in certain request fulfillments. “
