Mid-Michigan school records impacted by data breach

“A spokesperson for the Jackson Intermediate School District has confirmed that most of the schools in Jackson County use PowerSchool to help manage student records.“

“Officials said other school systems within the district are not impacted. “

“PowerSchool has not indicated what kind of data has been lost. “

“Jackson ISD said they were told PowerSchool is still active, the breach has been contained, and malware was not involved. “
