Oklahoma, Massachusetts hit by separate cyber incidents

“Massachusetts' City of Attleboro have been disrupted following separate cyberattacks last week, reports The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.“

“On the other hand, Attleboro had its local government and police department knocked down as a result of an attack that hit its email systems and phone lines. Operations at Attleboro City Hall have been run on paper-based procedures amid ongoing efforts to restore affected systems. “

“"We are taking direct steps to manage this incident and will continue regular updates as work continues," said Attleboro Mayor Cathleen DeSimone. “
