Ogeechee Judicial Circuit DA’s Office targeted in cyber attack, physical office locations to close for investigation

“The District Attorney’s Office for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit, which handles prosecutions for Bulloch, Effingham, and Screven counties, said their offices are closed following a cyberattack Wednesday morning.“

“The District Attorney’s Office said an IT support company identified the attack and stopped it in progress. “

“They say the cyberattack was stopped before any significant data could be compromised. “
