Trumbull-based support agency reports data breach of patients and employees

“Employees and patients at the Trumbull-based Kennedy Collective had sensitive information breached by a phishing attack, Kennedy Collective officials said Tuesday morning.“

“It was not immediately clear how large the data breach was, how many were affected and when it occurred. This private information could include: their Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and personal health information, according to a statement from the Kennedy Collective. “

“According to a news release, the Kennedy Collective investigated and determined "sensitive information of some of The Kennedy Collective employees and patients may have been accessible to the attackers. This information may include personal health information, Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers for each affected individual. The Kennedy Collective is not aware of any information being used adversely to date." “
