Atlas Healthcare Confirms Data Breach Affecting Residents’ Social Security Numbers

“Atlas Healthcare provided notice of a recent data breach after learning that an unauthorized actor was able to access the company’s computer system. “

“Atlas explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical information, health insurance information, driver’s license numbers and financial information.“

“Upon completing its investigation, Atlas began sending out data breach notification letters to all individuals whose information was affected by the recent data security incident. “
