State & Local Cybersecurity Grant Program FY2023

About The Cybersecurity Grant

Last year, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) launched the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP), a four-year funding initiative worth $1 billion. In 2023, the program enters its second year, with the potential to provide more than $375 million in funding throughout the next four years. This financial support aims to enhance cyber resilience within state and local government budgets. The funds can be utilized for various aspects of cyber resilience, such as planning, training, monitoring, and recovery.

Potential grantees have until October 6, 2023 to submit applications for this year’s funding. Spending plans must be submitted to the DHS ahead of the September 30th deadline for approval.
