Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks can shut down a PSAP’s data communications, making it impossible to retrieve and share information.
Whether a PSAP has E9-1-1 or NG9-1-1 capabilities, both of these attacks affect our emergency response. Our public safety infrastructure must have enough resilience to prepare for these types of attacks.
